Life Story for Cereatha Jacobs
Cereatha Jacobs was born in Jackson Tennessee on April 2, 1930. It was in Tennessee that she met beloved husband Abe, who preceded her in death.
Abe and Cereatha later moved to Cleveland, Ohio for better opportunities. Through their union, six boys were born, Jimmy, Eddie- Ray-deceased, Larry-deceased, Jerome, Carl- deceased and John
Cereatha was a proud member of the New Light Baptist Church. She worked and retired from the Clevealnd Public Library after 18 years of service.
Cereatha enjoyed cooking, doing word search puzzles and spending time with family and friends.
Cereatha leaves to mourn, her sons, Jimmy, Jerome and John (Angela); sister and brother in law, Floyd and Julia McCutcheon; a host of grandchildern, great grand children aunt and uncle, Floyd and Julia McCutcheon; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
