The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James Harper can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Class ring

During the year of my High School graduation my Mother had passed away and my fathers  illness had  gotten worst, and we had no money. I remember James, who we called Junior would always cheer me up with his  positive way of speaking. He was always a concerned, kind brother, He came over to the house one day to visit and he and I had a conversation about my graduation needs, a few days later, he surprised me with the money to  purchased my graduation ring. I think he did it, of course because he loved me  but I think my big brother did it because he could looked in my eyes and he  knew it meant the world to me.That was just the kind of brother he was. I will never ever forget that.  I will forever miss you and love you Junior

                                                                                                                          Sincerely,

                                                                                                           To my beloved Brother

                                                                                                           Your Sister, Ernestine
